Welcome to Our Backyard:

We would like to welcome our NTCEM visitors to the beauty and feel of Montana with the passion and experience only Montanan's can share.

Montana is our backyard and we know pretty much every inch of it. We may be the fourth largest state in America , but with less than a million people, we're really a small community that just happens to live miles away from each other.

We will welcome you to the magnificence of Billings , Montana and its Rimrocks, Yellowstone River , Sacrifice Cliff, Black Otter Trail, Pictograph Cave State Park , Chief Plenty Coups State Park , Two Moon Park , Riverfront Park , Zoo Montana and many history and western art museums. Within driving distance of Billings you will find Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, Custer Battlefield Museum, Chief Two Moon Monument, Pompey's Pillar National Monument, Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range, Rosebud Battlefield, St. Labre Indian School, St. Zavier Mission and Hardin, Montana with native history and art at the Jail House Gallery. For the serious anglers we have the Bighorn River , Yellowstone River , Stillwater River , Bighorn Canyon-Yellowtail Dam, Tongue River Reservoir, Willow Creek Dam and much more.

Rich Cultural events like the Little Bighorn Battlefield Reenactment will be going on during your visit also. These events are in conjunction with the Native Days Celebration in Crow Country: The Native Days Brochure can be downloaded here.

This is just the beginning… If you have more time to explore our beautiful area during your stay please consider a short drive to the Custer, Gallatin or Shoshone National Forests for a mountain hike. A 1 hour drive to Red Lodge is a must to experience the Beartooth Highway . It is one of the highest and most rugged areas in the lower 48 states, with 20 peaks reaching 12,000 feet in elevation. The Road itself is the highest elevation highway in Wyoming (10,947 feet) and Montana (10,350 feet), and is the highest elevation highway in the Northern Rockies . Big Sky Country has further options from Billings to Cody , Wyoming , Yellowstone National Park and much more in any direction you can go.

We can put you in the middle of a blue ribbon trout stream, take you on horseback through the mountains, set up a luxury camping trip, kayak or raft whitewater, bike trails of the Rockies…or anything you want, at just the speed for you. Just ask!
