Jon Waterhouse is a Native American of S'Klallam, Chippewa and Cree Blood. Currently serving as the Director of the Yukon River Inter-Tribal Watershed Council, his past career experiences include management positions at several major companies. He served in the U.S. Navy for twenty years and retired as a Chief.

Daniel R. Wildcat is a Yuchi member of the Muscogee Nation of Oklahoma. He is director of the Haskell Environmental Research Studies (HERS) Center and American Indian Studies faculty member at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas. Dr. Wildcat received B.A. and M.A. degrees in sociology from the University of Kansas and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He has taught at Haskell for 22 years.

Dr. Steve Running, University of Montana Ecologist and Forestry Professor, was a lead author of the 2007 United Nations IPCC report, which presents strong evidence that humanity is artificially warming our world. He gets to share a piece of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Margaret Hiza Redsteer is currently a research scientist in the geologic discipline of the USGS, Earth Surface Processes Team, where she has been employed since October 1999. She is project chief of the “Navajo Land Use Planning Project”, at the Flagstaff Science Center in Arizona.
